The KIMSDU in Karad is a renowned medical institute established in 1984 spread on a sprawling 53 acres of land. Under the able guidance of visionary founder Shri. Jaywantraoji Bhosale it has spread its wings in diverse areas in the field of medicine.

Amongst various other areas getting developed on site, a memorial garden and a museum was thought of. A suitable site in the campus was selected for the memorial. After much discussions and deliberations, visual survey, sun path analysis and Vastu considerations , the location for the main statue was finalised. The statue is a unique statue in a sitting position. A formal amphi theatre is created in front of this statue for functions and gatherings. This entire area is visually enclosed in free standing walls. The palette is understated and unassuming keeping in mind the simplicity and thoughts of the great academician.

This further connects to a museum structure where various things, writings and ideas of Shri. Jaywantraoji Bhosale will be exhibited.
